Muhammad Yaseen Shar Baloch Assumes Charge as Director General, MDA

Karachi, April 8, 2026: Muhammad Yaseen Shar Baloch has officially assumed the charge of Director General of the Malir Development Authority (MDA). Immediately after taking charge, he chaired an introductory meeting with senior officers of the authority.

Addressing the gathering, DG MDA Muhammad Yaseen Shar Baloch said that, in line with the directives of the Honourable Minister for Local Government, Housing and Town Planning, full transparency and accountability will be ensured within the MDA. He emphasized that illegal encroachments within the authority’s jurisdiction will not be tolerated.

“Strict action will be taken against encroachers without any discrimination, and negligence in this regard will not be allowed,” the DG stated. Officers were directed to perform their duties with integrity, professionalism, and dedication to enhance the authority’s credibility and efficiency.

MDA officers attended the meeting included Ali Muhammad Baladi, Waqas Ali Soomro, Shiraz Nazar Mirani, Ghulam Fareed, Agha Jalaluddin, Kamran Khan, and Muhammad Shahid, along with representatives from various departments.
